The world of Red Dead Online is populated by all manner of miscreants and misfits - but did you know that somewhere, tucked away in an estranged bar off the beaten track, there is a lonely clown who absolutely shreds on violin? With December approaching, Sony announces a slate of new games that will become available to the PlayStation Plus service for members to enjoy in the upcoming month. On top of the new PS Plus titles, the announcement reveals a new free online multiplayer weekend event for non-PlayStation Plus members to enjoy in mid-December. According to Adam Michel, Sony’s senior manager of game services content, the event will allow non-PS Plus members to enjoy the online features of their PS4 and PS5 games for free....

Video game developer Capcom officially announces that it expects its forthcoming horror game, Resident Evil 7, to sell 4 million copies once it launches. Ever since Capcom announced Resident Evil 7 and revealed its release date at E3 2016, fans of the survival-horror franchise have been eagerly anticipating any news regarding the upcoming sequel due to the developer’s decision to be rather reticent with actual gameplay details. Even so, Capcom is certain that its mysterious marketing approach will produce solid results when it comes to sales, as the company has stated it expects Resident Evil 7 will sell 4 million copies at launch during its current fiscal year....

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is celebrating its one year anniversary. In celebration, Respawn devs have been sharing behind the scenes footage of the game in its infancy. Within many threads on Twitter, various developers from Respawn have been sharing their Fallen Order birthday presents with fans. Key members of the team - including TheSwoit, Jeff Magers, and Nicholas G Cameron - shared their prototype builds with the world, commemorating the game’s anniversary as well as the traditional (albeit late) Blocktober....

The development of Metroid Prime 4 was scrapped by Nintendo and restarted with Retro Studios, but it seems as if the game hasn’t moved far along in development, as Retro Studios is now looking for an art director for the game. Metroid Prime 4 was originally announced during Nintendo’s E3 2017 Direct and it was later revealed that the game was being developed by Bandai Namco. Little was known about the game’s development under Bandai Namco, as it was revealed in 2019 that the game wasn’t matching up to Nintendo’s high standards and was being scrapped....
