The complaint was filed in LA County Superior Court on January 7 by Sharon O’Donnell, who is seeking damages for sexual discrimination, hostile environment harassment, and failure to pay wages. O’Donnell, who reported directly to Laurent, was hired as an executive assistant in October 2017....

Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, a Japanese action role-playing simulation game developed by Edelweiss and published by Marvelous, was released in November for the Nintendo Switch, PS4 and the PC through Steam. Since then, the title has sold more than 850,000 physical and digital copies, far exceeding the publisher’s expectations. The Edelweiss team, which developed 2014’s Astebreed, an action shoot ’em up 3D game, began working on Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin in 2015....

There’s a pretty high chance that is someone is playing Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, they love a good, challenging boss fight (and unlocking ways to make the game more difficult). The game definitely delivers on that front and has plenty of challenging encounters to torture players and test their patience and skills. The PlayStation 5 may have been revealed, but Sony likely still has some secret features left to announce for the next-generation console. One of those PS5 features could be a unique use of cloud software, if a newly surfaced patent is to be believed. The patent shows explicitly that Sony is considering offering access to games from the PlayStation, PlayStation 2, and PlayStation 3 via cloud technology. It would be one option for the PS5 to have generation-spanning backward compatibility....

Recently, Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate released for both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X in what is essentially an enhanced port of the original title, with all of the game’s post-release content. Previous Mortal Kombat games got this same treatment, with 2011’s Mortal Kombat getting the Komplete Edition the following year, as well as Mortal Kombat X getting Mortal Kombat XL later on. The difference here is that Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate is a release that brings the series onto new hardware, along with brand new exclusive content....

Since its announcement at E3 2016, gamers have been clamoring for more information about Microsoft’s Project Scorpio. The super-console is set to release holiday 2017, and looks to shake up the console scene, but there’s still only a few details available at the moment. One of the most important, yet glaringly missing, details is the price for Project Scorpio....

Spiritfarer is an upcoming management adventure games where you play as the titular Spiritfarer, the ferrymaster of the dead. A new trailer shows off the game’s vibrant hand-drawn aesthetic and the adorable cast of anthropomorphized animals that you will get to know as you ferry them to the afterlife. The developers, Thunder Lotus Games, have had success with their two previous titles, Jotun and Sundered. Their 3rd game, Spiritfarer, aims to pull at player’s heart strings with an emotionally engaging experience filled with unforgettable character moments....
