Krafton was rumored to have been developing PUBG 2 earlier this year, but plans for a battle royale sequel have apparently been canceled. That’s according to PlayerIGN, the same PUBG insider that broke the story of a sequel back in January. In an interview with The Loadout, PlayerIGN said that PUBG 2 was internally called Project Re:BORN, but the game ran into development issues that led to its cancellation. “My source tells me PUBG Project RE:BORN was originally meant to be the PUBG 2 game we were expecting, but the development team bumped into issues and are opting to go with an engine update/overhaul to the current game instead – a bit like Overwatch 2....

His production company, Proximity Media, has signed a five-year overall executive television deal with Disney, where he will be developing new television series’ for the studio. Outrage surrounding the release of CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 has not gone undeserved, especially from would-be fans experiencing the rocky launch on current generation consoles. The sheer volume of negative press and player feedback has forced the hands of both Sony and Microsoft to offer full-refunds for Cyberpunk 2077, though despite their accessibility, some refunders are still having trouble. Those most righteous in their displeasure with one of the year’s most anticipated releases have to be players running the game on their PS4 or Xbox One, as these versions are beleaguered by the brunt of the bugs circulating across social media as of late....

Cyberpunk 2077 is coming back to the PlayStation Store, but that doesn’t mean you should rush out and buy it just yet. Spyro: Reignited Trilogy is out now, and is a near exact recreation of the original PS1 games, but with updated graphics and audio. This means that the collection carries over some of the trickier things from the original game, including the entrance to the Ice Cavern level in the Peacekeepers world, which has traditionally been hard to find for fans. As it turns out, the Ice Cavern isn’t even necessarily hidden in Spyro: Reignited Trilogy....

For the most part, Resident Evil Village seems like a natural extension of Resident Evil 7, retaining that game’s first-person viewpoint and general gameplay style.
