According to a number of recent job postings, it appears that Bethesda Softworks may be hiring new staff to prepare work for the company’s first title developed under the Xbox Studios brand. This is specifically related to Bethesda Montreal and Austin, two of the locations for the main Bethesda Game Studios responsible for the Elder Scrolls series and modern Fallout. A number of fans have quickly begun searching the job postings to see what games these new job postings may be for, although Bethesda has not come out publicly to announce any upcoming developments....

Hideki Kamiya personally apologizes over Twitter to Scalebound fans for the game’s cancellation and denies rumors of his alleged mental health issues. Following the news a few days ago that development on Scalebound has officially ceased, game director Hideki Kamiya has now personally apologized for the cancellation via Twitter, saying he was “very sorry to everyone who was looking forward to this game.” Scalebound was set to be the next big thing in action-RPGs until it was hit hard by several problems, not the least of which was the months-long absence of its director, allegedly due to Kamiya’s mental health issues....

Shaman King, an anime series directed by Seiji Mizushima and co-produced by TV Tokyo, NAS, and Xebec that debuted in Japan in 2001, is being rebooted into a new series that will directed by Joji Furuta. The reboot will adapt the 35 volumes of the manga’s new complete edition and premiere in April on TV Tokyo. In the new series, which features character designs by Satohiko Sano and music by Yuki Hayashi, Yōko Hikasa will take over the role of Yoh Asakura....

After his triumphant coaching ventures in the Overwatch Contenders North America and Pacific, Chris ‘Spazzo’ Infante has landed himself a new role at the Toronto Defiant. The prolific 26-year-old Talon has been enlisted by the Canon-sponsored Canadian Overwatch team as its Assistant Coach, strategy and scouting. Spazzo will work alongside current Toronto Defiant strategic coach Dennis ‘Barrio’ Matz in scouting and identifying team players. The duo could tap on players’ potential to help the team make its way up to the top of the Overwatch League....
