Spider-Man reaches the end of a trilogy, which in its way now feels like the culmination of a trilogy of Spider-Man sagas. In what we can best describe as the end of the “Son of Stark” era of Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, our hero goes big. Thanks to an ill-advised team-up with a wizard, heroes and villains from other continuities and past movie franchises show up, including a bizarre cameo from a drunken wild card trying to make sense of this madness....

2018’s Spider-Man is the game that most Spidey fans have been waiting for since Spider-Man 2 for Playstation 2. This game brought back one of the coolest aspects of Spider-Man as a whole: a broad customization range. There’s plenty more room for even more customization in Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. There are also a few power-ups that would be cool to see again. Conversely, there are some that need to stay on Spider-Man PS4....

Resident Evil 2 Remake is without a doubt, one of the most anticipated horror games of 2019. It was just yesterday that Capcom stated it was paying attention to fan feedback for the demo of Resident Evil 7, but couldn’t “confirm any specifics” regarding its gameplay. Now, however, the developer is pointing toward a potential answer when it comes to the use of one of the mysterious objects in the title’s frightening PlayStation 4 demo by addressing the dummy finger....

Resolution Games is continuing to build its presence within the realm of VR, having recently announced a new partnership with Odd Raven Studios - the studio behind VR title Carly and the Reaperman. The deal marks the first such partnership for Resolution Games, which continues to see success from some of its most recent titles, including Blaston and Cook-Out: A Sandwich Tale. The agreement will allow for Resolution Games to publish Carly and the Reaperman, bringing it to the Oculus Quest platform, including both the Quest and Quest 2....

Riot Games has revealed its next step in turning VALORANT into the next big global esport. The VALORANT Champions Tour will be a season-long tournament circuit, with events taking place across the globe throughout 2021. The Tour will end with one team being crowned champion at the end of the year. The Champions Tour is split into three levels of competition - Challengers, Masters, and Champions. Frequent Resident Evil franchise leaker AestheticGamer believes that some kind of Shenmue announcement is going to take place at some point this weekend, though stopped short of revealing exactly what the announcement will entail. AestheticGamer previously teased a Shenmue series announcement last week, only clarifying that it’s not related to Shenmue 4. Unfortunately, AestheticGamer still doesn’t provide much in the way of concrete details about the announcement, beyond that it is for people who “care about the story” of Shenmue....

Several video game industry insiders have mentioned that an announcement regarding A Plague Tale: Innocence will be made during Microsoft’s E3 2021 showcase. ResetEra, Reddit, and other platforms are currently brimming with E3 2021 announcement leaks and theories. Among the predictions is Asobo Studio’s A Plague Tale: Innocence, which was critically acclaimed when it launched in 2019.
