The sea-faring pirate game Sea of Thieves gets new content for players to customize their ships with new sails that will light things up. While the game’s last update added dogs and new Black Market deals, the Sails of Union will provide players a flashy new set of sails for their ships with the proceeds going to the charity Stand Up to Cancer. Sega turns 60 this year, having come into existence on June 3, 1960. To celebrate, the video game publisher started something called the “Sega Seminar,” which, as the name suggests, consists of a series of videos that educate viewers on the company’s history. Last week, Capcom hinted that Resident Evil 2 could get post-launch DLC, and today it revealed what that DLC would be. While future paid DLC may still be on the table, Resident Evil 2 fans can look forward to post-launch DLC that includes retro Leon and Claire, as well as a brand new game mode. The new game mode is called Ghost Survivors, and sees players explore the story of three characters that are not Leon and Claire....

Despite being a survival horror game with its roots planted firmly into the B-movie schlock horror genre, the Resident Evil series has always been surprisingly dense in lore and world-building. From the files and notes scattered around mansions and former museums-turned police stations, there’s never a shortage of history and backstory to learn about the series and its characters. As the series has grown over the years the lore has become deeper and the remakes for Resident Evil 2 and Resident 3 have given Capcom another great opportunity to retell classic stories while also connecting the dots between old and new games in the franchise....

Resident Evil 7’s first-person viewpoint was a major departure from the series’ norms, but it also differed from previous games in other ways as well. Namely, Resident Evil 7 focused on a brand new protagonist, with a story almost entirely disconnected from the overarching Resident Evil plot. Some connections were revealed by the end of the game, but Resident Evil 7 was nearly a standalone story. That’s why it’s especially interesting that Resident Evil Village is picking up where Resident Evil 7 left off, with the same characters as that game, the return to the first-person viewpoint, and a terrifying new location for players to explore....

Born out of the creepy Kitchen VR demo, Resident Evil 7 surprised a lot of fans by bringing the series back to its horror roots through a new first-person perspective. While the title launched earlier this year to critical and consumer acclaim, it still took the game seven months to reach its sales target. With the Not a Hero story expansion coming to Resident Evil 7 next month, Capcom is continuing to shine the light on the twisted Baker family....

Fans of Resident Evil have a love-hate relationship for the franchise’s existing films. After all, its animated CGI films have done a great job expanding on the series’ premise. However, its Hollywood films somehow got psychics, clones, and a whole lot of action mixed in. Thankfully, Constantin Film’s reboot of the acclaimed Capcom franchise seems to dabble more into its survival horror roots. Additionally, the new Resident Evil film’s take on the Raccoon City incident will hopefully become as gruesome as the games....

This Rick and Morty review contains spoilers. Rick and Morty Season 3, Episode 5 I certainly didn’t expect two truly brilliant Rick and Morty episodes in succession and, furthermore, that “The Whirly Dirly Conspiracy” might even be better than “Vindicators 3: The Return of Worldender,” but here we are. Both episodes have razor-sharp, laugh-out-loud jokes throughout. Where “Whirly Dirly” has an edge over “Worldender” is that it takes the characters in completely new directions....

The Artificer is one of the harder characters to master in Risk Of Rain 2. This is largely because she has few survivability and mobility options to speak of. After playing with the other characters, players will come to expect this and find Artificer to be a slow glass cannon. That being said players that can master this character are in for a real treat. She’s by far the best damage dealer in the game and with the right hands can melt hordes and bosses alike....
