Tony Leung’s portrayal of Wenwu takes the MCU villain to a whole new level in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, the latest feature film in the franchise. Wenwu is complex and textured as written, but veteran actor Leung gives the role such gravity, a level of depth that can only be reached by one of the world’s leading performers. Wenwu easily tops the ranks of MCU’s best villains, but it wasn’t always clear Shang-Chi‘s villain would be a hit....

The Shanghai Dragons had their best season yet in 2020 as they demolished their way through the rest of their Overwatch League competition. Despite climbing to the best record in the league, the Dragons came up short in the Grand Finals. Unfortunately the solemn news for Dragons’ fans doesn’t end there. Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2, the sequel to Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts and sixth entry in the Sniper: Ghost Warrior series has unveiled a brand-new gameplay trailer. The trailer, titled “Welcome to Kuamar”, shows off the game’s impressive bullet mechanics, a sneak-peek at the plot, and much more. Will Forte’s Saturday Night Live (SNL) character MacGruber will be coming to NBC’s new streaming service Peacock. An 8 episode series order for the cult MacGyver parody was put in by the network and sees comic Will Forte returning to the role. Originally a recurring sketch on SNL, each installment of MacGruber saw the “hero” trapped in a control room with his assistants, usually Kristen Wiig as Vicki St. Elmo and a special guest, attempting to defuse a bomb before becoming distracted and inevitably caught in the explosion....

This review contains spoilers. So here we are. Sons Of Anarchy series four comes to a close in the second part of the finale. I had expected that, given the build-up, the series would finish with a bang. Instead, it starts with a bang and finishes quietly with a terrible cutaway. If I sound slightly disappointed, then it’s because I am. The truth is that, while we’ve had a great series (it was definitely miles better than the third one), this finale seems to whizz through all the plot arcs, trying to close them – and the problem is that a lot of the conclusions aren’t very satisfying....

Fortnite has managed to set itself apart in the battle royale genre through its building mechanics, events, and crossovers. As a result of these elements, the title has managed to win over many players and with plenty of challenges as well as crossover events it looks like this is set to continue. While the appearance of Deadpool has been very popular, the creator of the Spawn series has now suggested that his anti-hero could appear in a battle royale setting after working with the Fortnite team....

It’s safe to presume that plenty of survival-horror fans have already completed the majority of what the Resident Evil 2 remake’s base game has to offer, and are looking forward to the game’s forthcoming Ghost Survivors DLC. Until then, some players are biding their time by making various mods for the title, with one recent creation importing the Dino Crisis protagonist Regina into the RE2 remake. Thanks to the handiwork of the modder and YouTuber known simply as Crazy Potato, Resident Evil 2 fans should expect for there to be a downloadable version of the mod featuring Regina from Dino Crisis soon, but no official time frame has been given just yet....

The Resident Evil Village Collector’s Edition comes with a microfiber map, which details the titular village’s layout and reveals additional locations. Respawn just announced plans to hire more anti-cheat specialists and develop better anti-cheat tools to keep Apex Legends a fair game. Respawn is getting serious about Apex Legends’ DDoS problem. Ever since the spring, Apex cheaters have taken to sending DDoS attacks to Respawn’s servers in order to gain an unfair advantage and win matches. Players have been recording themselves suddenly freezing, losing connection to the Apex servers, and then unfreezing dead with their foes standing over their corpses almost mocking honest players with their ability to cheat unhindered....

The details of the plan to defeat Hiram are sketchy at best, and really they don’t matter very much this early in the season....

In the early 2010s, I finished Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love and was quite blown away by it.
