Riot Games has released an outline for the upcoming VALORANT Episode I, Act III update, which is set to go live on October 13th. Although most recent whispers have been about the ongoing legal feud with Apple, rumors of upcoming Fortnite cosmetics continue to circulate forums as well. Earlier today, a tweet claiming that developers were planning to include Wolverine as a skin began to make the rounds. Twitter user @HYPEX, generally known for Fortnite news and leaks, states that a “very trusted source” says that Epic has, or had, plans for both a Wolverine skin and Wolverine Claws pickaxe, and that they may be Season 4 secret cosmetics, if not simply available for purchase from the Item Shop....

Yuoni is a first-person survival horror that requires you to play a few games of hide and seek with some ethereal dudes and a creepy doll-looking child. Sounds inviting right? Japanese developer Tricore is behind the game, which takes the childhood games of tag and hide and seek to new dark and twisted lows. Running and hiding without any means of defending yourself is hardly a novel concept in horror games, with big titles in the genre like Amnesia and Outlast being just some that come to mind....

Demanding online survival game Rust sees you attempt to create a new life in the wilderness. You can build bases, craft weapons, and do whatever you can to survive. Working with groups or going out alone, there’s plenty to do in this game. Over time, you can unlock various blueprints. Some blueprints you’ll know right away. More complex blueprints can be found in crates and barrels. Alternatively, you can research the items you find by placing them, along with some scrap, into a research table....

One thing is for sure, Ryan Reynolds doesn’t take himself too seriously. Just like the loyal superhero community, Reynolds can spot a bad film when he sees one - it’s just unfortunate that he was the lead in one of them. Martin Campbell’s 2011 Green Lantern feature is considered one of the worst superhero films in existence - made when the comic book universe was in its infancy. In an interview with Famitsu (as reported on by Siliconera) Sega creative producer Yosuke Okunari hinted that Sega is thinking about producing a Dreamcast Mini device. “I think for the next one, we may go with a concept close to the Mega Drive Mini,” Okunari says. “If I have to say some names, it could be an SG-1000 Mini or a Dreamcast Mini.” Okunari also mentions that Sega has considered “everything that has been imagined by everyone” in regards to what their next mini console/game device could be....

Square Enix has announced a new Tomb Raider game at the beginning of this year, titled Shadow of the Tomb Raider. With filming of Netflix’s The Witcher shuttered after four positive COVID-19 cases, fans of the series shouldn’t expect the second season to air any time soon. This is the second delay since production began. Filming of the show — which takes place at Arborfield studios just outside London, England — was stalled from March through mid-August at the height of the pandemic’s “first wave.” Netflix says filming will resume once it is “safe” — a word that no longer has any meaning....

Peter Tamte reckons the stories portrayed in the upcoming game Six Days in Fallujah could be of some benefit to gamers. Tamte’s publishing company, Victura, is poised to see to the release of the game, which was due for launch back in 2010 before it was binned. News of the plans to go forward with the title has sparked criticism, as one might well imagine. However, asked why he’s opted to go ahead with it, Tamte said he felt an obligation to the persons who were actually on the ground during the Second Battle of Fallujah....

Developer CI Games isn’t done with the Sniper Ghost Warrior series yet. In a brief announcement this morning, the polish company revealed that a sequel to last year’s game Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts would be coming to current-generation platforms this fall. Dubbed Contracts 2 (how fitting), we don’t know a whole lot else other than that it is happening. In a press release, CI writes, “Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 will be set in modern-day with more game details being revealed in the coming months....

After a PlayStation financial call seemingly confirmed that God of War: Ragnarok will be the sequel’s official title, Sony has reached out to say that the name and logo used are unofficial. The financial call showed God of War: Ragnarok underneath the “best ever post launch line-up” section of one of the slides, and seemed to confirm the game’s name as being Ragnarok as well as seemingly showing off the game’s logo....

Cyberpunk 2077 has had a rough go of it with three different delays, eight years in development, and a buggy release. Now, Sony Interactive Entertainment is offering full refunds to anyone who purchased Cyberpunk 2077 through the PS Store and has removed the game from the PlayStation store until further notice. Gamers who purchased Cyberpunk 2077 found that the game was buggier than they expected it to be. So much so, that many rushed to the Xbox and PlayStation stores to try and get their money back for the game....
