Announced almost a year ago, we finally have another trailer for WayForward’s RWBY game - and it came with a title and release date. RWBY: Arrowfell is a co-op sidescroller, and is scheduled to launch at some point in 2022. The trailer gives us a peek at the sidescrolling gameplay, which appears to support four-player multiplayer. While some of the story will be told with voice acting over still images, it appears that there will indeed be cutscenes in the style of the show, which we also get a look at in the new trailer....

Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill are coming together once again in Colin Trevorrow’s upcoming Jurassic World: Dominion, and they decided to celebrate the glorious reunion as only they can: by aggressively being themselves. Sam Neill posted a video on Twitter featuring the New Zealand actor and his pal Jeff Goldblum singing the Tony Bennet golden oldie “I Remember You” in their own uniquely charming way. With Goldblum on the piano, the duo broke into the song with the gusto of two confident and inebriated lounge singers....

Sea of Thieves is getting some substantial new updates over the next few months, including the addition of some furry companions for players to take with them on their journey this September across the open seas on all platforms. The introduction of dogs to Sea of Thieves was hinted at in a sizzle reel for Xbox Games Pass during yesterday’s Gamescom Opening Night Live. Though the game currently does have cats, players of the game quickly noticed the new detail, and rumors quickly spread across social media....

A launch trailer was released today for upcoming co-op pirate game Sea of Thieves. The trailer showcases various gameplay features that players can expect to participate in when the game launches later this month. Sea of Thieves is being developed by Rare and published by Microsoft Studios. In it, players will team up to go on a bevy of pirate adventures, all without the risk of scurvy. From searching for lost treasures to engaging in ship-to-ship battles, the title looks to let gamers live out their deepest pirate fantasies....

Determined to prove the ship isn’t sinking, Sea Of Thieves developer Rare is giving players what they want: content. Or rather, the promise of content. Rare announced three big updates for the game, one focused on a mysterious AI threat and the other two offering new locations to explore and a new ship to reach them in. Alongside these will be new game mechanics as weekly events, all offered free of charge....

Pokemon has never been more popular. Between the new Netflix anime, the third DLC for Sword and Shield coming soon, and even quickly-selling-out Pikachu candies, people around the world can’t get enough Pocket Monsters. Now a rare, sealed box of Pokemon TCG cards has sold for a record amount. Back in February 2019, Heritage Auctions sent out a press release stating that a sealed box of Pokemon TCG First Edition sold at auction at the amazing price of $78,000....

Variety is reporting that Netflix is developing a live-action Pokémon series that is currently set to be helmed by Lucifer‘s co-showrunner, Joe Henderson. We don’t know much about the show (the project hasn’t even been confirmed by Netflix as of the time of this writing), but this early report suggests that the decision to go with a live-action adaptation as opposed to the more traditional animated adaptation can be partially attributed to Detective Pikachu‘s success....

The Simpsons is not as good as it was back in 1993, when it was regularly churning out episodes like Marge vs. The Monorail, Last Exit To Springfield, Cape Feare, and Homer’s Barbershop Quartet, but it has always seemed to me like The Simpsons is held to an unfair standard....

Warning: contains plot details for The Rising episodes 1-8 . At first glance, The Rising is just another show about another dead girl. It would be understandable for viewers to dismiss it as one more drama in which a woman suffers life-ending violence at the hand of a man. As the story of a murdered teenager wandering the Earth and trying figure out who took her life, The Rising brings to mind the controversial Netflix adaptation Thirteen Reasons Why, but is tonally closer to acclaimed crime mystery Mare of Easttown....

The Divines and Daedric Princes in The Elder Scrolls series are all fairly well established to be more than mere myth, as many of them have interacted with Nirn multiple times in the past, particularly in the case of the Daedric Princes. Strangely, despite this, each race living in Tamriel has a different view of the celestial beings, both in name as well as their natures. The Nords, the proud warrior race of Skyrim with a deeply religious lifestyle, particularly when it comes to their god hero, Talos, are one such race whose views on both the Divines and the Daedric Princes are vastly different from the main religion of Tamriel, the Imperial pantheon....

Each new release in The Elder Scrolls series comes with new powers and weapons for the protagonist to use once they have been freed from whatever imprisonment that always seems to start their adventures. For The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, this new power came in the form of Shouts, powerful spells spoken in the language of dragons that allow the Last Dragonborn to perform some truly unique feats. Each Shout has a designated cooldown time, as these powers aren’t designed to be used anywhere near as often as regular spells, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t ways to get around this cooldown time....

A lot of time is spent talking about the bugs and glitches that can be found in Night City, but did you know that there are some bugs that can be considered “normal” for the game? These are exploits that take advantage of existing (functioning) game mechanics in ways that the developers probably didn’t think of. Such is the case here, where someone used their Cyberpunk 2077 build to turn V into Flash Gordon....

It’s easy to dismiss Sonic Adventure as a rough transition to 3D, but the game’s about as good as it was on release. Sonic Adventure at its best is a fantastic reinvention of the Sonic formula, capturing the high octane speed from the 2D games while presenting everything in a far more stylish package. At its worst, Sonic Adventure is a slapped together tech demo that – while admirably ambitious – doesn’t make use of its many gameplay mechanics....

The official Bandai Namco website does feature some guidance on what players can expect from the game, with a return to the events of the original game, among other things, promised for the latest iteration in the series: The 3D fighting game has also been built in Unreal Engine 4 and promises updated, state of the art graphics. As well as this, a roster of new and returning characters, revamped gameplay mechanics, and dynamic fighting have all been promised for Soul Calibur 6....

Netflix revealed that the two actors who voiced Claire Redfield and Leon S. Kennedy in the 2019 Resident Evil 2 Remake will reprise their roles in the upcoming CG-animated series Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness. Netflix has kept details about Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness under wraps since the series was revealed last September. That was until today, when Netflix announced the show’s cast, teaser art, and a three-paragraph synopsis. Netflix also revealed that the show is officially canon and takes place in 2006, a few years after the events of Resident Evil 4....

The original Resident Evil 3 featured a brief gameplay stint where players took control of Carlos, but the 2020 remake greatly expands his role. While Carlos isn’t on the same level as Jill, he gets to explore both the RPD and Hospital – two of Resident Evil 3’s best designed settings. Control permanently returns to Jill after Carlos completes the Hospital with RE3 nudging players towards NEST-2. Although Resident Evil 3 tries to push Jill into the final area right away, savvy players will remember that Carlos didn’t fully explore the Hospital....

The Resident Evil franchise has had mixed success when it comes to live-action film adaptations. On one hand, the Resident Evil movies have made a lot of money, and are in fact some of the most successful video game movies ever made. On the other hand, pretty much all of the Resident Evil movies have been universally panned by critics and fans alike, with many not happy with the way the films have handled the source material....

A new VALORANT clothing merch line is available for purchase, developer Riot Games revealed yesterday. The collection features VALORANT-themed apparel items, including T-shirts and sweatshirts. All items are now available through Riot’s online merch store, ranging from $30-65. VALORANT developer Riot Games has officially released the game’s first merch line, with all items going up for sale yesterday. The collection focuses on VALORANT’s characters, with ties to the game’s first Episode, Ignition....

Riot Games took to Twitter on Tuesday to reveal who the most played Valorant agents are in every region around the world, and the results may or may not surprise you. Valorant has six regions spanning the globe; United States, Mexico, Brazil, Turkey, Russia and Korea. With those six regions, only two distinct agents earned the honors of being named the most played agent in a region; Jett and Sage....
