The PS5 version of Resident Evil Village may have some performance issues, it has been suggested by a prominent horror game insider. The issues with the game, which is also called Resident Evil 8 by fans, could apparently be seen in the Resident Evil Village announcement trailer revealed in June. In a post on ResetERA, noted horror game insider AestheticGamer, or Dusk Golem, revealed that Resident Evil 8 has a “terrible performance” and a “terrible frame rate” on PS5 “as of a few months ago....

Rumors continue to swarm the internet regarding speculation of Resident Evil 8 and its dark plot and more folklorian horror aesthetics, including the inclusion of a monster known as “Gorilla-Man.” Given that an abundance of Resident Evil 8 rumors turned out to be true previously, such as the inclusion of werewolves, the possibilities of taking on “Gorilla-Man” certainly seem highly plausible. While Lady Dimitrescu’s mysterious nature and…umm…proportions quickly made her an internet favorite, some of the most fascinating characters from the Resident Evil Village trailers/demo have to be Lady Dimitrescu’s equally mysterious daughters. Even using the word “daughters” is potentially misleading. Lady Dimitrescu refers to the characters as her daughters, but aspects of the game’s lore hinted at by circumstantial evidence suggest that they may not actually be her daughters. There’s even a hint that they could somehow be manufactured....

And it was at a Comic Con Xbox 360 party where we were able to go hands on with a Riddler challenge level in the upcoming Batman: Arkham City. In anticipation of the upcoming digital release, the smash-hit pokemon movie Detective Pikachu is getting its own interactive installation at San Diego Comic-Con this year. Outside the Omni Hotel will be an “immersive walkthrough pop-up” recreation of the movie’s main setting, Ryme City. Warner Brothers’ press release states that attendees will have many “instagrammable” places from the city available to explore, such as the “neon cityscape [and] Ryme City marketplace,” as well as film prop displays and an infinity room....

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is one of 2019’s most anticipated games, and with launch day quickly approaching, FromSoftware is giving fans a small glimpse into the story that players will discover. Previous trailers have mentioned the protagonist’s master, but now fans can see the figure who is sure to play a pivotal role in the plot of the game as they embark through reimagined Sengoku-era Japan. The trailer sets up the events for Sekiro and introduces The Owl, a powerful shinobi who takes Sekiro under his wing following a gruesome battle....

There are dedicated gamers and then there are those that fall on the extreme side of the spectrum. Despite Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice only being out for a week, Twitch streamer danflesh111 pwned the community by finishing an Any% run in just over 50 minutes. Completionists will shudder and completing this particular speed run limits the endings that you will experience, but to finish this game in less than an hour is an incredible feat....

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has a serious issue with cheating, whether it be wallhacks or aimbots. For every obvious cheater caught on video having their targeting critical snap to unseen foes, there’re more players who are subtle. It’s rare that incontrovertible evidence that these subtle players are cheating is found, but one Modern Warfare player has managed to reveal themselves for the cheat they are. Nostalgic fans have something to look forward to when Serious Sam returns for its next sequel in August. A new gameplay trailer revealed during the Devolver Direct online event showed a lot of action-packed footage from the game and it looks like Serious Sam 4 will be as crazy and carnage-filled as the originals. Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins is silently and stealthily shifting its way out of a 2020 film industry schedule that’s been snakebit by the COVID cobra. Studio Paramount, which is partnering with property owners Hasbro Toys to produce, has set a new release date for Snake Eyes, shifting it to October 22, 2021. The film, a prequel intended to relaunch the G.I. Joe film franchise, will be shifted back a whole year (save for a day,) from its originally scheduled premiere of October 23, 2020....
