With the PlayStation VR2 now just a few weeks away from going on sale Sony has officially confirmed that there will be more than 30 games available to play within the launch period. With the PSVR2 going on sale on 22 February PlayStation is counting anything that will ship through March as being released within the headset’s launch window. That means that some of these titles won’t make a day-one release, but at least we know that they’re on the way....
The previously Japan-exclusive Space Invaders: Invincible Collection has now been confirmed for a western release on Switch. Coming sometime in the near future, Taito and publisher Strictly Limited Games have teamed up to create a physical edition of the retro compilation that will pack all 11 titles on a single cartridge. While a timesave of 0.216 seconds may not seem like a lot in real time, in a game as heavily optimized as Super Mario Bros, it is an absolutely massive amount of time. Capcom brought Resident Evil 2 to San Diego Comic Con this year, revealing the game’s GameStop-exclusive $200 Collector’s Edition in the process. Resilience, designed by Drexel University students in collaboration with Sungrazer Studio, has recently won Games For Change’s Best Student Game award. The sci-fi city-builder game follows a refugee camp manager dealing with the challenges of life in the camp. Inspired by Camp Moria in Greece, which has held more than 20,000 Syrian refugees, Resilience started development in April 2019. In the fall, the art team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania worked on the concept and aesthetic, while the programming team built the mechanics of the game....

The job listing in question is looking for a 2D artist with background and character/creature design experience.
