The artifact of the Daedric Prince Sanguine, the Sanguine Rose is a very powerful staff that has appeared in both Oblivion and Skyrim as the reward for players who successfully complete Sanguine’s quest. As should be expected for the Daedric Prince of Debauchery, these quests are some of the more entertaining in the Elder Scrolls series and are well worth completing simply to experience them. The Sanguine Rose, as it appears in Skyrim, will summon a leveled Dremora when cast and is one of the more powerful Daedrci Artifacts as a result, though unlike in Oblivion, the Dremora summoned will be allied with the player rather than being a wild creature that will attack everything in sight....

After years of protests from players and fans, Respawn has finally acknowledged the biggest issue present in the game - DDOS attacks on the servers and hackers harassing players. In a tweet from Respawn, the developer has promised “Help is coming ASAP.” Titanfall has been plagued for years with complaints about the state of its online multiplayer - largely met with silence from EA and Respawn. From what started as an enticing and unique concept in shooters, Titanfall took a turn for the worst, as the game felt abandoned once hackers began taking control of lobbies....

The wait for Rick and Morty season 4 on Adult Swim was a long one. Thankfully, the wait for season 4’s 10 episodes to arrive on streaming won’t be nearly as bad. Rick and Morty’s fourth season will be available on both HBO Max and Hulu this weekend, on Nov. 1. Per the Rick and Morty Twitter account, all 10 episodes on HBO Max will be uncensored, meaning that the squeamish among you will finally find out what revolting term Rick and Morty used to describe defined ab muscles in episode 6....

With the 2021 preseason on the horizon and the item system overhaul along with it, Riot’s Mark Yetter introduces some potential changes to crit items and the crit mechanic overall. Yetter said the goal of the changes to crit is to “Bring a bit more power into the early curve and slightly less exponential payoff”, and, “Broaden the choices for champs building crit”. The changes begin with critical strike damage reducing from 200% to 175%....

Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics are bringing Rise of the Tomb Raider to Steam and Windows 10 starting January 28, with added support for 4K resolution systems. Rise of the Tomb Raider was just one of several Xbox exclusives released this year, and just this week Microsoft announced it crossed the 1 million sales mark during the 2015 holiday season. That’s certainly nothing to be disappointed with. But Rise of the Tomb Raider was never meant to be a console exclusive for long, with plans to bring the game to PC in January having been revealed just last month....

Rocket League has been around for over five years, and it came a long way since its original debut. If you haven’ had the chance to get your hands on this title, the game recently became free, and it’s a blast to play it with friends. Xbox Game Pass has continued to offer more and more games over the past several months. It has added 20 Bethesda games and rumors suggest that it will be adding the EA Play library for PC. Thunderball was disappointed to find out that he was unable to break her green skin with a syringe and could not steal her gamma blood....

From the nine holds introduced in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Haafingar is undoubtedly the one that’s least talked about — and for good reason. There isn’t much to see here, due to it being geographically the smallest hold. That being said, its main city, Solitude, is the biggest in all of Skyrim, which compensates for the lack of land the hold actually owns. Haafingar covers the northwestern end of the province, a snowy and somewhat mountainous area that’s hard to get to....

As far as video games go, few have had an impact as large as Skyrim, one of the most successful RPGs of all time. As players journey through the rough world Skyrim offers, they’ll uncover a host of new questlines, ranging from the Thieves Guild to the Companions, each offering gameplay for a specific archetype of character, unless players toss that notion aside and do every questline on offer. Of course, the most difficult to avoid is the Civil War questline, which sees the Stormcloak Rebellion try to uproot the Empire’s influence from the province of Skyrim....

The Hogwarts Legacy trailer reveals a version of the Wizard World that, while set in the late 1800s, is clearly very closely based on the visual style established in the Harry Potter movies. There is one design detail in the trailer which is taken from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, however, which has some interesting implications for the new game. One moment in the trailer shows a student cast a spell which transforms a mirror into a dueling dummy, and it resembles the Death Eater dummies in the fifth film....
