It’s been revealed that Spider-Man: Miles Morales sold 70% fewer copies than Marvel’s Spider-Man at launch. Spider-Man: Miles Morales is considered one of the year’s best games, launching alongside the PS5 to showcase the power of PlayStation’s latest console. The game performed well critically but struggled to keep up financially with Marvel’s Spider-Man released back in 2018, selling around 70% fewer copies at launch than Insomniac’s first Spider-Man game. In a survey conducted by SuperData, it was revealed that Spider-Man: Miles Morales only sold 663,000 digital units across both PS4 and PS5 at launch....

Mat Piscatella, US video games industry analyst, has posted a top 10 ranking of Superhero Games, which shows Marvel’s Spider-Man for the PlayStation 4 come out on top. The data is taken from the NPD Group and is based on physical and digital sales, measured in US dollars. In the chart that Piscatella posted Twitter, there are no available sales figures. However, it is evident that the top 10 is basically a battle between Batman and Spider-Man....

Easily the one we’re most excited for is Resident Evil 4, which is getting ported to Oculus as a completely new VR experience. Resident Evil 4 has been ported to pretty much every device that could possibly play a video game, but VR sets up a brand new challenge for Armature, the studio that’s handling the port....

The Resident Evil Village PC port left a number of players disappointed thanks to its poor performance. The game stuttered during a number of sequences, leaving owners wondering what the issue was. It now seems that Capcom’s anti-tamper V3 and Denuvo V11 may be the cause. As pointed out by Eurogamer, hacker Empress claimed to have played a pirated version of the game and noted that it didn’t suffer from the stuttering issues....

Arcade throwback game RetroMania Wrestling finally has a release date for the Xbox One. The game is already available on PC, but due to issues during the certification process, RetroMania Wrestling’s console launch was delayed last month. At that time developer Retrosoft Studios said that the console delay would probably be no more than two weeks, and though it has been longer than two weeks since then, fans at least have a specified date to look forward to....

It would be far easier for Riverdale to play its world of pixie stick-drug addicts, anarchronistic gangs, and nonsensical musical performances with a nod and a wink....

The days of laying siege to castles and adventurers being chosen due to their genetic qualities are not over yet, as Cellar Door Games is hinting at a sequel to Rogue Legacy on Twitter. Rogue Legacy is a Metroidvania roguelike that is available on a multitude of systems. The premise of the game is to defeat four bosses that inhabit a castle, which has a random layout every time the player enters....

Rogue Legacy 2, the sequel to the 2013 platformer, has a new trailer and an early release date. Yesterday, a number of brand new details about Mortal Kombat 11’s Kombat Pack 2 were supposedly discovered, with reputable leakers reporting mentions of Ash from Ash vs Evil Dead, Fujin, and Sheeva in the game’s files following the Spawn update. With these leaks corroborating with a number of other big rumors surrounding the game’s future roster additions, it seems as though the three major characters are all but confirmed to make their Mortal Kombat 11 debut at some point in the near future....
