The SCUF H1 joins SCUF’s distinguished line of highly customizable pro controllers and carries that tradition with it. The SCUF H1 is based on the design and technology found in the Corsair Virtuouso headset. SCUF was acquired by Corsair last December and the SCUF H1 is the first major collaboration between the two brands....

Silent Hill monster designer and art director Masahiro Ito recently took to his Twitter account to reveal an incredibly tiny and low-resolution piece of concept art that he drew for a prototype of a cancelled game in the survival horror franchise back in 2013. According to Ito, the image is supposed to be a representation of the “beginning” of the cancelled Silent Hill game’s story. As seen in the image below, the piece of concept art from Ito’s work on the nonexistent Silent Hill game appears to contain the similar rusted-out industrial style that showed up so consistently throughout the history of the Konami survival horror series....

A report published today suggested that the PS5 reveal event is happening next week, giving fans their first look at the console and its launch titles. On Twitter, well-known horror game leaker AestheticGamer revealed that Sony’s plans for the PS5 reveal event are changing “constantly” and that the company is “being really back & forth and keep making changes behind the scenes....

Although Destiny has only been available for a little over 24 hours now, gamers are already weighing in on the title’s potential. Some are praising Bungie for their work on the MMO-esque shooter, while others continue to criticize the game’s lack of depth. Either way, the people are talking about Destiny, and some see that as a very good thing. However, while having gamers talk about Destiny and show interest in Destiny should presumably be a good thing for all platforms (save for PC), Sony apparently doesn’t see it that way....

A patent filed by Sony suggests the company is working on a form of AI capable of emulating a player should they quit or get disconnected. Every player to have ever played online has been there. Whether it be during a game of Smash Bros., a fight in Mortal Kombat 11, or a match on FIFA 20. The opponent can’t quite match up, and after they’ve had enough, they quit. On the one hand, it can be quite a satisfying feeling, especially if it’s a game that will still count the result in the non-quitter’s favor....

It’s no secret that the PS4 has been, by and large, the defacto best console of the current generation in terms of sales performance. Sony expects the PS4 to exceed 60 million units sold in 2017, and those kinds of lofty goals aren’t made lightly by a company that is expecting its console’s torrid sales pace to slow down any time soon. Throughout the month of December, rapper Soulja Boy has started selling a few different video game consoles that amount to little more than likely illegal emulators packed full of copyrighted video games from Nintendo, Capcom, and more.
