Fans have been hoping for more Splinter Cell content for years, with Ubisoft constantly giving fans Sam Fisher cameos in their other projects. Fan requests for a new game focused on the goggle-wearing hero may have been heard, as a recent rumor states that new Splinter Cell and Assassin’s Creed games will be announced today. The only catch is that both projects will be for VR. These VR projects were rumored to be in development last year, so official info from Ubisoft on the games seems believable....

Facepunch’s Rust was announced for consoles way back in 2019 and not much has been heard since barring the delay to a 2021 release, but things seem to finally be moving along as the game has just received a rating - mature (M). However, while it’s coming to PS4 and Xbox One, ESRB’s website does not have it listed for next-gen platforms. ESRB’s summary reads, “This is a multiplayer first-person survival game in which players compete to survive in a hostile environment....

We’re about to find out which fighter is next in line for Samurai Shodown. SNK announced last night that the final character for the second season of its series reboot would be announced at the New Game+ Expo on June 23, 2020. Sharing a silhouette that could honestly be anyone, it seems the final character will be one of the male fighters from the series’ past. The most likely seems to be Walter from Samurai Shodown Sen....

Originally set to be released in December of next year, the latest trailer provides us with a fresh look at how Scarlet Nexus is coming along. An ARPG set in the near future where humans have developed psionic powers, the player has the choice of whether they want to control Yuito Sumeragi or Kasane Randall....

The Seoul Dynasty recently announced former Vancouver Titans’ main-support Sung-jun “SLIME” Kim as the newest addition to their 2020 roster. This news comes after the Titans purged their entire team the week before. Slime didn’t receive any playtime in Seoul’s recent 3-0 loss to the Chengdu Hunters but should see action for the Dynasty soon enough. The Vancouver Titans led the 2019 season with a record of 25-3 before falling to the San Francisco Shock in the Grand Finals....

It’s been more that a year since we first heard about Sony’s plans to create a digital game rental service called PlayStation Now. Since then, it’s been rolled out for the PlayStation 4 — and now it’s being extended to other consoles in the PlayStation family. Sony made an official announcement on the PlayStation Blog yesterday, confirming that PlayStation Now would be made available on the PlayStation 3 on May 12....
