The Mother of Monsters, Tiamat, enters the SMITE battlegrounds today, offering players the opportunity to wield the creation god’s versatile abilities. Tiamat brings a host of damaging abilities with her kit that allows her to effectively engage other SMITE gods at both short and long-range engagements. The Goddess of the Salt Sea, Tiamat is the latest stance-switching god to join SMITE’s roster. According to Sony’s Quarterly Securities Report, the Japanese multinational corporation has spent an astounding $329 million from April 1, 2020, to December 31, 2020, on publishing agreements and partnerships for PlayStation. In a statement, Sony said, “Certain subsidiaries in the Game & Network Services (“G&NS”) segment have entered into long-term contracts for the development, distribution and publishing of game software. These contracts cover various periods mainly within seven years. As of December 31, 2020, these subsidiaries were committed to make payments of 34,360 million yen under such contracts....

One of the biggest surprises from E3 2018 was the reveal trailer for the long-awaited Resident Evil 2 remake. When a classic game needs a new breath of life, it’s not always the original studio that takes the helm. Last year, Bioware announced it would bring Mass Effect: Legendary Edition to PC, PS4, and Xbox One in the spring of 2021. As that window draws closer, it looks like EA and Bioware will make good on the promise as multiple retailers have listed the beloved sci-fi trilogy for pre-order releasing on March 12. Back in November, Bioware’s announcement included a promise of various improvements to graphics in the form of 4k Ultra HD textures, upgrades to character models, and brand new effects....

Although it may still be in Early Access, Satisfactory still continually gets new updates and enhancements. Each new change streamlines the experience and expands the list of machines you can build or gadgets you get to play with (the most recent of which added Ziplines). There have been so many alterations to it since its initial release into Early Access back in March of 2019 that its current toybox is now heaving with tools and equipment to tinker on....

Kenji Anabuki, the director of Scarlet Nexus, has been releasing daily screenshots and videos for the upcoming title, the latest of which shows off a bit of the game’s fast-paced action. All told, there are more than 60 pieces of Scarlet Nexus-related content, offering a deeper look at the highly-anticipated game. Anabuki seems to have started the massive tweet chain back in December after The Game Awards. “For those who are looking forward to it, from today until the ‘release date,’ I will publish screenshots every day,” wrote Anabuki....

Bandai Namco Entertainment announced this morning that its anime action game Scarlet Nexus will be releasing on June 25, 2021. Heading to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X (via Smart Delivery), a new trailer introduces players to the character of Kasane and her struggle in this colorful universe. A lot of what we see in the trailer isn’t anything new. The gameplay of Scarlet Nexus is well known at this point, but the big reveal was that an anime series is in production....
