Capcom just released its remake of Resident Evil 3, but it’s clear that the company is far from done with the franchise. Resident Evil 2 Remake came out just last year, for example, and there are rumblings that Resident Evil 8 is slated for 2021. Now, it seems that a new Resident Evil game is clearly in the works to follow it in 2022: Resident Evil 4 Remake. Considering it’s one of the highest-selling and most popular entries in the franchise, it doesn’t come as much surprise that it is in development....

The new Resident Evil movie reboot is moving forward, giving the fan-favorite horror franchise a fresh start unrelated to Paul W.S. Anderson and Milla Jovovich’s film series, which finally concluded in 2016 after six installments. The movie is being written and directed by Johannes Roberts (47 Meters Down) and is said to be more faithful to the classic video games. Indeed, if the castings reported by Deadline are any indication, this new take on the zombie story will lean a bit closer to the source material as opposed to Anderson’s far more action-packed adaptation....

If there is one shining star amongst THQ’s properties that have failed to deliver for the waning publisher it’s Saints Row. After the over-the-top, but awesome, Saints Row: The Third released to tremendous fanfare, it makes sense to hear that the publisher is moving forward with yet another entry in the franchise. Though there were some questions regarding whether or not Saints Row was too niche, or got lost in the 2011 holiday season, a resume listing by a member of Volition’s development team suggests the game sold well enough to warrant a sequel....

Getting a new assistant is a lot like getting a new car. The temptation to compare with the older model is irresistible, you want to test out the limits of your new acquisition immediately, and both come with questionable leather features (I’m talking jackets, if anyone’s thinking Freema Agyeman has a rock-solid moisturising routine.) Yes! Martha Jones is here, and who would have thought it, she’s actually quite good. The PR assault before airing seemed unintentionally focused on inferring she was ‘feisty’, what with all the PR shots of her smirking down the camera like she belonged in the new Hollyoaks titles....

Rick & Morty wobbled a little bit in season four. There were still some great episodes (three, by my count) and Claw & Order was the only real dud, but still, it felt like a dip. It’s been over a decade since the release of Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver for the Nintendo DS. While Rare’s Sea of Thieves got off to a very slow start back in 2018, the game has steadily become a major success for Microsoft. Back in June, Sea of Thieves hit 15 million players with over 3.3 million unique players playing over the course of the month. As a result of this success, it seems Microsoft and Rare have no intentions to abandon Sea of Thieves as the next-generation approaches....

When Rare launched Sea of Thieves in March 2018, it established a pirate code of conduct meant to curb bigotry, prejudicial play, and other forms of toxicity.
